Questions
What clients tend to ask first.
Most agencies sell packages. We do not. Every journey we compose begins with a private conversation and ends with a written proposal made for one client only. Nothing we arrange is for sale to anyone else, and nothing we have arranged for someone else will be offered to you.
Our consultation and planning fees are quoted in writing before any work begins, and depend on the complexity and length of the trip rather than its price. Supplier costs are passed through transparently, at the rate confirmed at booking. No hidden margins, no commissions disguised as service.
We do not publish one. We do, however, ask for honesty in the first conversation. Our work is most useful from around £25,000 upwards for a single trip. Below that we may suggest you book directly, and we will tell you so.
For peak-season properties (Christmas in the Maldives, August in Sardinia, February in Saint-Barth), six months is comfortable, twelve is luxurious. For most of the year, four to six weeks is enough. For genuine emergencies, we have built trips in under 48 hours.
Closed museums opened after hours. A private chef flown in for a single anniversary dinner. A train carriage chartered between two cities. Visas processed over a weekend. Doors that did not, on paper, exist.
We sign confidentiality undertakings as standard. Names, dates and destinations are never shared, including between our own clients. The relationships we draw on are built on the same principle, and we work only with people who understand it.
A single member of our team is reachable around the clock for the duration of your trip. They have authority to escalate, replace, refund or rebook on the spot, without waiting for an internal decision.
